Is it possible that instead of not understanding Stoicism or practicing it incorrectly, it just didn't work for you?
In other words, maybe you did practice Courage, Justice, Temperance, and Wisdom and they just weren't enough for Eudaimonia? For better or worse, perhaps many of us humans living today need external and internal validation, physical touch, quality time with loved ones, spiritual practice, or any number of other things to achieve Eudaimonia?
